PM calls on candidates who passed the basic agricultural skills exam to use their hearts to work to help farmers

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Dr. Hun Manet, appealed to young people who have already passed the agricultural skills exam in the communes to use their hearts to work hard to use their skills to help Cambodian farmers.


During the official launching ceremony of “The 5th and 6th Priority Policy Program of the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature” on November 20, 2023, Hun Manet said that so far there are about 10,000 candidates applied for the position of agricultural officer in the commune, while the policy of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries enabled only 250 people.

He instructed the relevant ministries and institutions to be open for this exam in order to ensure transparency, fairness, accuracy and quality by giving access to those who have a real will on this matter.

In addition, the Premier also called on students who have already passed the exam to be recruited as agricultural officers to be deployed to 250 communes / Sangkats to fulfil their duties with their hearts to work together to serve the people.

The premier urged those who passed the exam to assist farmers, stating that the framework is not for salary but to celebrate with the people and country by enhancing skills and aiding agriculture. Dap-news
